QR Treasure Hunt Generator

QR Treasure Hunt Generator

Website Link:

Description: has an easy to use QR Treasure Hunt Generator. You input your questions and it makes all the QR codes for you! Just print them out, display them and set your students loose to find them! This is a great way to engage your kinesthetic learners!

  • Students will need a device with a camera and a scanning app.
  • I recommend the i-nigma app, it seems to work really well.
Integration Ideas:
    • Math
      • Math Facts - Each QR links to a math problem. Students have to answer and illustrate the problem on paper before moving on to the next problem.
      • Word Problems - Each QR links to a word problem. Students have to use the problem solving method you have taught them to answer the problem on paper.
    • Science
      • Test Review - Each QR links to a question that may be on the test. They use their textbook to find the answer and write it.
      • Discussions - Each QR links to a discussion question related to your topic of study. Pair students and have them discuss/debate at each QR.
    • Social Studies
      • Group Project - Divide the class into groups and give each one QR code. When they scan the QR it gives them their group assignment.
    • Language Arts
      • Comprehension - Each QR links to comprehension questions for a story you are reading.
